Ingredients

  • 9 mini sweet peppers
  • 3 pieces string cheese

Instructions

  1. Slice ¼ of the pepper lengthwise and remove, making a boat-like opening and leaving the stem intact. Remove seeds if desired.
  2. Cut string cheese into thirds and place 1⁄3 into a pepper.
  3. Place stuffed peppers into base of steamer, opened side facing up.
  4. Fill water tray with 1¾ cups/400 mL water.
  5. Place Steamer base over water tray.
  6. Cover and microwave on high power 5 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Serve warm.
