Steamed Salmon & Asian Slaw Salad

This Asian-inspired salad combines all the things that make Asian food exciting: sweet, salty, sour and earthy. Salmon is full of monounsaturated fats that keep you healthy and lower cholesterol.

Steamed Salmon & Asian Slaw Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 lb./455 g salmon filet
  • 2 lb. head Napa cabbage
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 pkg. ramen noodles
  • 1 pkg. slivered or sliced almonds
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper
    Sweet & Sour Dressing
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Steam salmon for 10 minutes in Tupperware® SmartSteamer until opaque.
  2. Thinly chop cabbage and slice green onions and place in a large bowl.
  3. Heat butter in a fry pan over medium heat.
  4. Crush noodles and add with almonds to melted butter. Cook until golden brown.
  5. Drain well and set aside.
  6. Just before serving, add noodles and almonds to cabbage and toss with dressing.
  7. Top with steamed salmon.
    Sweet & Sour Dressing
  1. Place all ingredients in Quick Shake® Container. Replace seal and shake until well combined.

Chef Series™ 11″/28 cm Fry Pan over
medium heat. Crush noodles and add with
almonds to melted butter. Cook until golden
brown. Drain well and set aside. Just before
serving, add noodles and almonds to
cabbage and toss with dressing. Top with
steamed salmon.
