Homemade Sundae Shell

I scream, you scream, we all scream for…ice cream sundaes! Perfect homemade ice cream with homemade Sundae Shell topping. Sundae Shell is delicious as a fruit dip, too! Prepare using the Micro Pitcher; pouring spout is designed for smooth pouring without dripping—then save the rest for later and reheat when you’re ready to enjoy all over again.

“Magic” Sundae Shell

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 4 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in 1-Qt./1 L Micro Pitcher.
  2. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Whisk to combine.
  3. Pour over cold ice cream and shell will "magically" harden in approximately 10 seconds.

    What do you do with any left overs? Can you store it in the fridge and then reheat it?

      You can store it in the fridge but it’s not required. To reuse, simply reheat in 15 second intervals until the sauce has warmed enough to pour.
