Easy Chimichurri Skirt Steak

Ingredients

    Chimichurri
  • Makes 1¼ cups
  • 1½ cups (1 bunch) cilantro
  • 1½ cups (1 bunch) Italian parsley
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 lime, juiced using the Zest ’N Press® Gadget
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Steak & Chop Seasoning

  • 2 lbs./1 kg skirt steak
  • 2 tsp. Steak & Chop Seasoning

Instructions

  1. To create the Chimichurri, place cilantro, parsley and garlic in base of Quick Chef® Pro System. Cover and turn handle until finely chopped. Add lime juice, red wine vinegar, olive oil and seasoning blend and turn handle until well blended.
  2. Bring skirt steak to room temperature. Pat dry and season on both sides with seasoning blend. Preheat grill to highest temperature.
  3. Grill seasoned steak 2–3 minutes per side over hottest part of grill, or until desired doneness.
  4. Allow steak to rest off heat 10–15 minutes. Cutting against the grain, slice steak into strips and serve with Chimichurri.
